Research in Progress: Unaccompanied Children in Europe

UNHCR's Policy Development and Evaluation Service (PDES) is undertaking some research on unaccompanied children in Europe including Turkey), focusing particularly on Afghans, but possibly including Somalis and Iraqis as well. The research will examine both the profile of the unaccompanied children and the way they are treated in different European countries. The research is not limited to those children who claim asylum.
