The Programme in Refugee Studies is a one-year programme of study and practical work experience. The first five months of academic training in Prague and Krakow are followed by six months of working at partner institutions in non-industrialized countries as well as in countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

By enrolling in the General Certificate Program in Refugee and Migration Studies, students registered in undergraduate degree programs in the Faculties of Arts, Atkinson;Environmental Studies, Education, and Glendon College should formally focus their studies in the area of refugees and migration. The General Certificate will be awarded concurrently with the B.A., B.Ed., B.E.S., or B.Sc. degrees for which they are registered, provided both sets of requirements are completed.
