The Brookings-LSE Project on Internal Displacement of the Foreign Policy Program at the Brookings Institution is seeking one full-time research/administrative intern to assist with research projects, events, and outreach activities. The intern will provide research and administrative assistance to the Project on Internal Displacement, which supports the mandate of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Internally Displaced Persons.
The Global Detention Project, based at the Graduate Institute's Programme for the Study of Global Migration in Geneva, Switzerland, is seeking a consultant to complete a report on immigration detention practices and policies in Arab Gulf States. The consultancy will be for a term of 60 days and involve desk research, interviews with key actors in the region, and report drafting. It will pay a daily fee of 350 USD and be completed by the end of July 2013.
